James Eugene Reising, 83, Wauzeka, died Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at the Prairie Maison Healthcare Center in Prairie du Chien.

He was born April 22, 1930, the son of Eugene and Francis (Fitzmaurice) Reising. He started as a first generation farmer in Harvard, Ill., later moving to Wauzeka, to continue farming in 1973.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, April 21, 2014 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Rev. Victor Feltes officiated. Burial will be at a later date.
