CASSVILLE—Joseph W. Gengler, age 81, of Cassville, formerly of Bloomington, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013, at Orchard Manor Nursing Home, rural Lancaster.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, Aug. 30 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bloomington with Father John Meinholz officiating.  Burial will be in Dodge Cemetery, Beetown Township.  Family and friends may call on Thursday, Aug. 29 from 4 until 8 p.m. at Schwartz Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lancaster.  Friends may also call on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the church.
