Kathleen M. Symons, age 81, of Shullsburg, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014, at Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County in Darlington. She was born Oct. 27, 1932 in Shullsburg, the daughter of George and Clara (Weiskircher) Scott.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Centenary United Methodist Church, 226 West Church Street in Shullsburg with Rev. Jeffrey A. Meyer officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery in Shullsburg. A visitation was held Monday, March 24, 2014, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Centenary United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Kathleen’s name.
