L. James “Jim” Leitl, 84, of Platteville, died on Friday, Aug. 31 at Southwest Health Center.

 A celebration of Jim’s life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 22 from 10:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Platteville Golf and Country Club. A private family burial will be in Hillside Cemetery in Platteville. The Martin-Schwartz Funeral Home in Platteville is assisting the family. In lieu of plants and flowers, the family suggests memorials be offered to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
