Lawrence Rayner, 84, of Soldiers Grove, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012 at the Sannes Skogdalen Nursing Home in Soldiers Grove.

Funeral services were held on Monday, Sept. 10, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at Floral Lawns Memorial Park in South Beloit, Ill. Friends called on Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Sime Funeral Home. A Veterans ceremony was conducted at the funeral home in Readstown at 9 a.m. on Monday.

The Sime Funeral Home of Readstown assisted the family with arrangements.
