Marian Ione Bredeson, 85 of Orchard Manor near Lancaster, formerly of the Argyle/Blanchardville area, died on Tuesday evening, Sept. 4, 2012, at Orchard Manor. She was born on Sept. 16, 1926, in Mount Horeb to Frank and Selma (Julson) Dearth. Funeral services were held on Monday, Sept. 10, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the Yellowstone Lutheran Church in rural Blanchardville. Rev. Dan Bohlman officiated. Burial was in the Yellowstone Lutheran Cemetery. A visitation was held on Sunday, Sept. 9, from 4-8 p.m. in Blanchardville. Full obituary in the September 13, 2012 issue of the Republican Journal.
