If Martha “Marty” Chandler’s life were a book, her last chapter was written on March 30, 2014, after a long battle with cancer.  Her first chapter began in Wiota when her parents, Clifford and Muriel (Wendt)  Carpenter, welcomed her on April 26, 1939. 

A celebration of Marty’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 16 from 5-8 p.m. at the Blanchardville American Legion Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Marty Chandler Scholarship Fund would be appreciated. The Saether Funeral Home of Blanchardville is assisting the family.
