Melissa Jo “YaYa” Uren, 41, of Fennimore, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2021, at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg after her courageous battle with Neuroendocrine Cancer surrounded by her loving family.

A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 29, 2021, at the Larson Family Funeral Home in Fennimore with food and fellowship following at the Cottonwood Sports Bar, rural Fennimore. Visitation for family and friends was held from 12 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home on Sunday. Attendees were encouraged to wear the “Green and Gold” in honor of Melissa’s favorite team. In lieu of plants and flowers, a memorial fund in being established in loving memory of Melissa Jo Uren.
