Merlin B. Bartels, 83, of Belmont, died on Thursday, November 22, 2012 at Lancaster Care Center.  Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 26, 2012 at the Melby-Bendorf Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville.  Father Bernard Rott will officiate.  Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Belmont.  Friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Melby-Bendorf Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, or from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday.  Memorials may be made to the Merlin B.
