Nicholas C. “Nick” Hill, 66, Potosi, died peacefully on Thursday, May 23, at his home after a courageous battle with Agent Orange, which he contracted during his three tours of duty in Vietnam and led to many other medical complications.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 3, at the Calvary Baptist Church in Platteville. Pastor Dave Barna officiated. Burial with military honors was in St. Andrew Cemetery in Tennyson. Visitation was from 4–6 p.m. on Sunday, June 2, at Martin Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Potosi, and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church.
