Patrick Thomas Carroll, 86, “took a notion to die” on Tuesday, March 21, 2017.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 1, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Platteville.  Father Jim Murphy will officiate. Chapel Military Rites will be accorded by American Legion Post #42 and VFW Post #5274. Private family burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Reedsburg.  Friends may call on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to the Patrick Carroll Memorial Fund.  Online condolences may be made at www.melbyfh.com.
