LANCASTER—Robert E. Knapp, age 83, of Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer at Orchard Manor Nursing Home, rural Lancaster.

Funeral services were held on Friday, Aug. 16 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bloomington with Fr. John Meinholz officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. The Martin Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Bloomington assisted the family. A Robert E. “Bob” Knapp memorial fund has been established.
