Robert James “R.J.” Peterson, 75, of Madison, died on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends.

A celebration of Robert’s life was held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at the Ryan Funeral Home in Madison. Visitation was held from 5 p.m.  until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare Inc., 5395 East Cheryl Parkway, Fitchburg or to Bethel Lutheran Church, 312 Wisconsin Ave, Madison.

We will miss his sense of humor, those twinkling blue eyes and that sweet smile…until we meet again.

The Ryan Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Madison assisted the family with arrangements.
