Ronald L. “Cowboy” Cook, 77, Platteville, died on Tuesday, Aug. 15 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 21 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory in Platteville.  Pastor Mary Ann Floerke officiated. Burial was at Hillside Cemetery in Platteville, where military rites were accorded by VFW Post #5274 and American Legion Post #42. Visitation was from 2–6 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 20 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday.
