Ruth (Anding) Jones, 98, passed away peacefully on Friday, Nov. 21, 2025.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 4, at First English Lutheran Church, 215 W. Pine St., in Platteville. A reception with dessert and beverages will follow at the church. A private burial will be held at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to The Jones Family Engineering Scholarship at the University of Wisconsin–Platteville or The National Audubon Society.  The Melby Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.  Online condolences can be made at www.melbyfh.com.
