Sophie J. Moen, 92, Montfort/Cobb died on Friday morning July 29 at the Bloomfield Healthcare in rural Dodgeville.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 2 at the St. John Nepomuc Catholic Church in Castle Rock Township, Grant County. Burial follow at the church cemetery. Father Miguel Galvez and Father Jim Murphy officiated. A Parish Rosary was said at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 1 at the Soman–Larson Funeral Home in Montfort. Visitation directly followed from 4–8 p.m. In lieu of plants and flowers, a memorial fund is being established in loving memory of Sophie J. Moen.
