Thomas Orlan Herreid, 90, of rural Mt. Sterling, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021, at Vernon Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his family. 

A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 28, at Mt. Sterling Lutheran Church. Pastor Nile Sandeen officiated. Visitation was held on Saturday, November 27, at Vosseteig Funeral Home in Gays Mills. Additional visitation was held on Sunday at the church until the time of service.
