Verle M. Sargent, age 66 of Shullsburg/Darlington, died on Friday, Aug. 28, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer.  He was born on May 9, 1949 in Dodgeville, to Francis and Kathleen (Smith) Sargent. 

Scriptural Funeral Services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015 at Our Lady of Fatima Parish, Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 104 E. Harriet Street, Darlington, WI, with Fr. John Bosco Pudhota officiating.  Burial was at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery, and a luncheon followed at Redbird Alley.  Visitation was from 4:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 31, 2015 at Steil Camacho Funeral Home, 206 E. Harriet Street, Darlington, WI, www.camachofuneralhomes.com, 608-776-2461. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
