PRAIRIE DU CHIEN—Violet Alice Bischoff, age 96, a resident at Walter Schmidt Assisted Living in Prairie du Chien, died Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013 at Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital. 

Memorials may be directed to the Walter Schmidt Assisted Living Center located at 424 North Beaumont Road or St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church Bingo Organization. A private family service will take place at a later date. Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Prairie du Chien is helping the family with arrangements.
