Walter ‘Van’ Chapman passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, hours shy of his 89th birthday.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a private burial will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery with Pastor Todd Iverson serving the family. A memorial service will take place at a later date. Memorials may be directed to Immanuel Lutheran Church building fund or Wisconsin Public Television. Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Watertown is serving the family.
