Trojan girls track team wins conference
NC track conf champs Jodi Swiggum

North Crawford swept the conference meets by winning the Ridge and Valley Conference Meet with 144 points to runner up DeSoto 133, Wauzeka 117, Kickapoo/LaFarge 87 and Ithaca 58.

The 3200-meter relay team of Kylie Heisz, Nina Zastrow, Madison Gander, and Ashley Ingle started the night out with a win in 12:19.36 and the 1600-meter relay team of Maggie Schellhorn, Ahmae Varnes-Epstein, Nina Zastrow, and Natasha Swiggum ended the night with a win in 4:49.03.

Other first place finishes were Willa Dworschack, who set personnel records (PR) in the 300 hurdles 52.12, she also took second place in the 1600 with a 6:08.03 and 3200 13:46.49.

Haley Nelson won the high jump with a 4' 10" jump, third in the 100-meter hurdles in 19.62, and sixth in the 800 meter in 2:57.57. Maggie Schellhorn won the pole vault with a vault of 8' 0" also taking second in the 400-meters with a 1:06.15 (PR), and sixth in the 200 meter with a 30.70.

Senior Natasha Swiggum took third in the 400-meters with a 1:09.27 (PR), 800 meter fifth 2:54.86, and in the triple jump fifth with a 28' 9.75" (PR).

Nina Zastrow 800m third 2:48.53, shot put seventh 25' 3", Agostina Martino 200m fourth 30.66, Michelle Berger 100m 6th 15.21, Ahmae Varnes-Epstein 400m fifth 1:16.48, Ashley Ingle 1600m fifth 6:33.07 (PR) and 3200m fourth 15:11.45, Faith Krause 3200m 16:07.69,    

100 hurdle Gracie McIntrye fourth 20.37 and Kylie Heisz 5th 21.34   

300 hurdles Gracie McIntrye fourth 55.44 and Lucia Deux 5th 55.49
