At Janesville, on Saturday, Sept. 22, the Redbirds put their best foot forward against some strong competition, placing 13th in the boys’ varsity meet and 15th in the girls’ varsity meet at the 75th Annual Midwest Invitational hosted by Janesville Craig at the Blackhawk Golf Course.
“Competing in this race allows us to experience a big meet atmosphere, which will pay off as we run in the important meets at the end of the year,” said Darlington head coach Arnie Miehe. “We had several good individual races on both the girls’ and boys’ sides, but we still need to shorten the gap between our first and fifth runners.”
Full results from this meet are listed below.
Next up, Darlington will participate in the Platteville Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 29, starting at 9 a.m.
