Platteville/Lancaster junior Kaydan Addie was named the SWC boys soccer Player of the Year after scoring a school record 39 goals and leading the Hillmen (16–2–1) to a third straight conference title and a WIAA D3 regional title.

A record-breaking season by junior Kayden Addie and a talented senior class lifted the Platteville/Lancaster boys soccer team to great heights this fall.

Addie scored a school record 39 goals this year and the Hillmen defense allowed just three goals in conference play to lead the Platteville/Lancaster boys to a third-straight Southwest Wisconsin Conference title and a WIAA Division 3 regional title.

The Hillmen finished the year 16–2–1 and 8–0 in the SWC.

Last week, 10 Hillmen were received all-conference honors by a vote of the league coaches when the Southwest Wisconsin Conference announced its 2019 all-conference team.

Addie was named this year’s SWC Player of the Year and earned his second straight first-team All-SWC honor.

Senior goal keeper Michael Fields, senior defenders Nate Busch, junior defender Ryder Arians, senior midfielders Kengkue Xiong and Aaron Murphy and senior forward Nick Kroll joined Addie on the 13-player first team.

Sophomore Evan Mewhiter was named to the second team, while junior forward Sam Schaffer and freshman Andrew Barry received honorable mention.
