MADISON —Belmont/Platteville senior Will Schaefer finished off his prep career by placing second in the Division 2 182-pound weight class, while junior Michael Douglas closed his junior season with a fifth-place finish at 285-pounds for the Braves at the 2020 WIAA Individual State Wrestling Tournament held at Kohl Center Feb. 27–29.

Senior Tristen Gilbertson (31–12) also competed for the Braves at state, but he had an unfortunately short stay on the mats after getting pinned by Luck/Frederic/Grantsburg/Siren sophomore Taedon Nichols (39–6) in their 1120-pound preliminary match on Thursday evening.
