For University of Wisconsin-Platteville students, learning can take on various forms throughout their academic career. In addition to gaining knowledge in the classroom, many students take on the added responsibility of working on campus.
To recognize their dedication to improving the lives of others, both on and off campus, five students were honored with the Outstanding Student Employee Award. Each recipient earned a $200 prize, courtesy of the UW-Platteville Foundation.
Among the five was Kyle Klocke, a third-year student from Lancaster, who has worked for four semesters as a Student Support Services tutor.
Steven Anderson, tutor coordinator, nominated Klocke for the award. “Kyle is a terrific tutor,” said Anderson. “He tutors students in courses ranging from lower level mathematics to 3620 financial management. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the subject and uses his ability to help our students.”
