Southwest Tech honored 68 students graduating from 15 programs on Dec. 19, 2014, at the college’s annual winter commencement ceremony.
The alumni speaker was Megan Hamilton, a 2008 graduate of the Cosmetology program and owner of Tres Chic Salon in Lancaster.  The student speaker was Katy Cleary, Business Management program graduate and owner of Katy’s Coral, a horse and tack business in Volga, Iowa.
The Southwest Tech 2013 Graduate Success Report found that 90 percent of Southwest Tech graduates were employed six months to one year after graduation.
