Approximately 1,100 students received degrees during the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s winter commencement ceremonies on Dec. 18, 2011.
Former Badger football player, U.S. Marine and international relief worker Jake Wood delivered the charge to graduates at commencement ceremonies held at the Kohl Center.
Degree recipients from our area include: Michelle Lynn McMahon of Lancaster, Bachelor of Science/Biology, graduated with Distinction; and Cheyenne R. Oyen of Lancaster, Bachelor of Science-Kinesiology/Kinesiology, graduated with Distinction.
