Delete - Merge UThe University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point conferred degrees on more than 1,100 graduates during the university’s 2012 spring commencement ceremonies. 
Graduates, their guests and faculty members were addressed by UWSP Alumnus James Kurth, chief of the National Wildlife Refuge System. Chancellor Bernie Patterson welcomed the participants and Interim Provost and Vice Chancellor Greg Summers recognized honor students and award winners.
Area graduates included: Eric J. Olson of Lancaster, BS, Forestry Administration and Use; David A. Yearous of Lancaster, BS, Wildlife Ecology-Research & Mgmt; and Joel R. Weger of Potosi, BS, Athletic Training.
