A son, Samuel Allen, was born on June 28, 2016, to Carissa and Grant Erickson of Sturgeon Bay. Samuel weighed 6 lbs. 9 oz. and was 19.5 inches long. Local grandparents are Connie and Brian Vlasak, and David and Briana Turk. Great-grandparents are Larry and the late Harriet Jewell, and Sharon Zales. Great-great-grandfather is William Jewell Jr.
