Justin Tippett and Virginia Curran, Platteville, announce the birth of their  son, Kaiden Daniel Tippett, at 11:01 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 9 at Southwest Health in Platteville.
Kaiden weighed 6 pounds, 12.2 ounces and was 19.5 inches long.
Grandparents are Joely Saidykhan and Bakary Saidykhan, both of Platteville.
