Josh and Ashley Clauer announce the birth of their son, Paitton James Clauer, on Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 1:06 p.m. at Southwest Health Center.
Paitton weighed six pounds, five ounces and was 19 inches long. He joins a sister, Angela  Marie Clauer, 4.
Grandparents are Jamie and Cathy Kasparek of Potosi, and  Michael Clauer and Angela Clauer, both of Bloomington.
Great-grandparents are Pat and Jim Barry of Newport, N.C., Russell Kasparek of Lancaster, James and Darlene Clauer of Bloomington, and Albert and Sue Riedle of Cassville.
Paitton’s father is self-employed and his mother is a stay-at-home mom.
