DARLINGTON - The Towne House opened again for business on Wednesday, July 6. Nathan Brown from New Diggings, jumped at the chance to take over the restaurant. He has been in the restaurant business for 15 years and helped manage Vinny Vanucchi’s in Galena and Dubuque.
“We are going to have somewhat of the same menu. I am planning on having breakfast all day and have the hours extended to nine at night once we get staffing for the night shifts,” Brown mentioned.
New menu items will be build your own skillet, omelets, or burgers. The restaurant will be getting a fountain soda machine soon and Brown hopes to implement things that are seen on the Vinny Vanucchi’s menu; pastas, fettuccines, spaghettis. Other ideas for dinner include chicken and steak dinners.
“I hope you like what we bring to your table,” Brown concluded.
Once the night staffing is hired, the Towne House hours will be 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
