Anthology donated to Platteville library
Kuhls PPL donation

Platteville native Deborah Kuhls, M.D., donated a copy of the anthology, Being a Woman Surgeon: Sixty Women Share Their Stories, to the Platteville Public LIbrary. Kuhls is associate dean for academic affairs, chief academic officer, professor of surgery and chief of the critical care section at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas. Kuhls, the daughter of the late Don and Betty Kuhls, graduated from Platteville High School in 1969, and after working in banking returned to school and graduated from the Medical College of Pennsylvania.
