A total of $243,050 was awarded to the 2015 seniors at Darlington High School last week during the Senior Awards Day, held on Wednesday, May 13. Following is a list of scholarships and awards.
    Receiving an Academic Excellence Scholarship of $2,250/year totaling $9,000 was Thomas Schultz.
    Receiving a Technical Excellence Scholarship of $2,250/year totaling $4,500 was Cashton Hermanson.
    Receiving UW-Platteville scholarships in the amount of $500 were Mariah Wiegel, Walker Wiegel, Ben Muhlstein, Cole Whalen, Tianna Kelly, Teresa Wamsley and Jacob Boyle.
    Receiving a UW-Platteville scholarship in the amount of $1,500 was Courtney Wallin.
    Receiving a Washington University scholarship in the amount of $57,150 was Jason Singer.
    Receiving an Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University scholarship in the amount of $42,800 was Taylor Cox.
    Receiving Art awards in the amount of $500 were Edgar Mendez and Shauna Volkening.
    Receiving a Darlington Police Department Citizenship award in the amount of $300 were Johanna Meister and Alexandra Kissel.
    Receiving FFA Alumni scholarships in the amount of $500 were Jacob Boyle, Allen Coulthard, Taylor Cox, Brett Jones, Tianna Kelly, Casey Lobdell, Slade Norton, Cole Trumble and Cole Whalen.
    Receiving T.M. Nelson Science scholarships in the amount of $50 were Alexandra Kissel and Zachary Wolf.
     Receiving an Alliant Energy Foundation scholarship in the amount of $1,000 was Thomas Schultz.

    Receiving Darlington Associated Personnel scholarships in the amount of $100 were Ben Muhlstein and Jacob Boyle.
    Receiving Darlington American Legion Auxiliary scholarships in the amount of $100 were Kevin Fenner and Devra Komprood.
    Receiving a Darlington Community Theater scholarship in the amount of $200 was Teresa Wamsley.
