PMS Geography Bee

Participants in the Platteville Middle School Geography Bee included (front, from left) Adelle Holder, Sarah Iselin (second place), Jacob Bell (first place), Jacob Sherer, (back) Shelby Faherty, Madison Devlin, Grace Deis (third place) and Adam Bird. Bell, a seventh-grader, won the school competition, the second round of the 28th annual National Geographic Bee. Bell and other school champions will take an electronic test; up to 100 of the top scorers on that test in each state will then be eligible to compete in their state Bee on April 1. The top national prize is a $50,000 college schoarship.
