'Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do'
Holy Week retreat at Sinsinawa Mound this weekend

“Father Forgive Them, They Know Not What They Do,” a Holy Week retreat based on The Healing Power of Forgiving by Sister Martha Alken, OP, will be held at Sinsinawa Mound March 28–30.

Forgiveness is presented as a human need, a matter of choice, and a moment of grace.

Based on her book, Alken will focus on forgiving as an action by which we let go of the resentment to which people feel they have full right, and thus further God’s life within and among us.

The topic will be integrated with the readings and the spirit of Holy Week.

Contact Guest Services to register, 748-4411, or go to www.sinsinawa.org.

All of Sinsinawa Mound’s services for Holy Week will be in Queen of the Rosary Chapel. They include: Holy Thursday, March 28, Mass of the Lord’s Supper, 6:15 p.m.; Good Friday, March 29, celebration of the Lord’s Passion, 2 p.m.; Holy Saturday, March 30, the Paschal Vigil, 7 p.m.; and Easter Sunday, March 31, Eucharist, 10:30 a.m., and Solemn Easter Vespers, 4:45 p.m.
