Community Evangelical Free Church, 300 Pioneer Road East, Platteville, will hold a Food For Kidz meal bagging event Saturday, March 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Meals bagged at this event will be shipped to starving people in various countries around the world, wherever the need is greatest.

Jobs are available for those who are able to stand for a whole shift, as well as jobs for those who would rather sit. Shifts are 10 a.m. to noon, noon to 2 p.m., and 2 to 3 p.m. for cleanup.

Walk-ins are welcome, but advance sign-ups are preferred. To sign up, call the church office, 348-7330, or sign up on the church’s Facebook page, www.facebook.com/events/397347807091439.

Donations can also be mailed or dropped off at Community Evangelical Free Church, 300 Pioneer Road East, Platteville, WI 53818, with checks payable to Food For Kidz.
