There will be an open house celebrating the completion of the new Therapy Center at Bethel Home on Friday, Nov. 14 starting at noon.  The public is invited for tours of the second phase of the Bethel Home Renewal which includes the Therapy Center, Dining Bistro and Therapeutic Home Training Center on the first floor of Bethel Home.  The project was completed by Market and Johnson as general contractors and ADG Architects.

The Therapy Center, now located in the former first floor dining room at Bethel Home, includes a fully equipped therapy gym to help clients gain strength, mobility and independence.  The former therapy area was converted to make a cozy dining space to accommodate up to 30 people in Transitional Care at Bethel Home.  An occupational therapy training kitchen and bath simulates the home environment for training purposes.  A comfortable lounge with internet access and outdoor gardens is available for clients and families.  Transitional care offers short term care and therapy between hospital stays and returning home or to more independent living.

Tours will be available from 12 to 2 p.m. meeting in the front lobby of Bethel Home at 614 South Rock Ave., Viroqua.  Come and meet the therapy staff with M J Care, Inc. who will be available to answer questions about rehabilitative therapy offered at Bethel Home.  The public is also invited for the Bethel Auxiliary Bazaar and Barbecue Lunch taking place in the Fellowship Room from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. that day.
