Vernon Memorial Healthcare is excited to be hosting an open house that will allow the public to see the impressive changes that have been made on the third floor of the Viroqua Area Medical Office Building.

The public is invited to attend the open house on Tuesday, April 7 from 4:30-7 p.m. It will be a great opportunity to take a look around the newfacility and talk with VMH Therapy and GI/Infusion Services staff about the services that they offer and how the new space will improve patient care.

The Vernon Memorial Healthcare Therapy Department has been seeing patients in a state-of-the-art, 11,000 square foot space for more than a month. The move unites the Occupational, Physical and Speech Therapy departments, which were previously located in separate areas of Vernon Memorial Hospital.

The Infusion Services Department nearly doubled its space on the third floor of the Viroqua Area Medical Office Building. The department is now able to offer four private rooms that include a recliner or bed, as well as a TV. That is in addition to the five GI rooms that were previously available.
