Platteville police said Monday they have received “numerous reports of stolen license plates.”

Police said five license plates were stolen on the UW–Platteville campus, from lots 19, 24 and 28, plus two other unlisted locations.

Other license plates were stolen on the 200 block of East Pine Street and the 300 block of East Main Street. Four of the plates were personalized plates.

Anyone who sees suspicious behavior or theft is asked to contact police, 348-2313.
