City man injured in rear-end crash

A 65-year-old Boscobel man was injured after the van he was driving was rear-ended by a pickup truck on Highway 61 at Parker Street Monday at 3:55 p.m. Carmen M. Lewis had slowed his 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan for a delivery truck turning into Bob's Auto Body when he was rear-ended by a 2012 Ford F150 pickup driven by Allison Lawrence, 18, of Boscobel. She was not injured. Lewis was transported to Boscobel Gundersen Hospital by the Boscobel Rescue Squad. Both vehicles suffered major damage and Lawrence was issued a citation for following too close.
