Fundraiser launched to purchase rescue boat
Muscoda Fire & Rescue
Rescue boat for Wisconsin River
LED BY MEISTER CHEESE, an effort has been launched to buy a rescue boat that can be used to access all parts of the Lower Wisconsin River. The boat, when purchased, will be owned and operated by Muscoda Fire & Rescue.

MUSCODA - Meister Cheese is excited to be the organizing sponsor of a fundraising effort to purchase a rescue boat for the Muscoda Joint Fire & Rescue Department. The all-volunteer department serves lower Wisconsin Riverway from Spring Green to Boscobel.

Currently, first responders do not have the capability to access all parts of the river, at all water levels, and in all seasons as compared to the capability of this air-powered craft.

The company is asking for your consideration in donating towards this significant purchase to aid the brave volunteers in the fight to save families on and around the Lower Wisconsin River.

Friends of the Lower Wisconsin Riverway (FLOW) has joined the effort, and is collecting donations for this Riverway safety initiative, using their status as a 501C3 non-profit. All proceeds collected will go toward the purchase of the boat.

To donate, please mail checks made out to FLOW with the Memo "Rescue Boat" to FLOW, P.O. Box 614, Spring Green, WI 53588 or go to FLOW's website, and click on the donation page to donate with a Credit, Debit, or PayPal card.

Let them know your donation is for the boat by leaving us the memo "Rescue Boat" using the "Write a note (option)."
