Two arrested on warrants

Police arrested a 44-year-old Farmersburg, Iowa woman on an outstanding warrant Saturday night.

Police stopped a vehicle driving on Second Street around 10:30 p.m., one-half hour after the street closes. A license check revealed a warrant against the driver, Anissa L. Bartels, who was arrested and taken to the Police Department to post bond.

Bartels had an outstanding warrant for a July 2012 disorderly conduct charge for failing to pay the balance of the $682.50 fine, according to court records.

•    A 20-year-old Platteville man was picked up for an outstanding warrant Jan. 7.

Police arrested Tyler J. Swenson at 95 W. Pine St. around 1:30 p.m.

Swenson was arrested for not paying the balance of a September 2012 underage drinking conviction, according to court records.
