Celia B. Robertson, 93 of Gratiot, passed away July 2, 2012, at her home. She was born Dec. 27, 1918, at 4311 South Holland Road in rural Gratiot, the daughter of John and Eva (Andrews) Barge. Celia never lived anywhere else but the home farm, where she was born and died. She loved animals, especially her two dogs and the cows that she milked, which she had names for all of them, until she was 87 years old. Funeral services were held Friday, July 6, 2012, at 6 p.m. in Shullsburg, with Rev. Kevin Cernek officiating. Burial was in Gratiot M.E. Cemetery in rural Gratiot. A visitation was held Friday, July 6, from 2 p.m. until the time of service. Full obituary in the July 12, 2012 issue of the Republican Journal.
