How do you sum up in a few paragraphs a life that was so richly lived for 93 years, 10 months and two days?

A public celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 24, from 2pm until 3pm, with visitation following until 7pm, at Soman-Larson Funeral Home in Montfort. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Pete and Katie Memorial Scholarship, one which Katie herself established and is managed through the Iowa-Grant Education Foundation, would be greatly appreciated.
