Robert Richard (Bob) Cliff, age 71, of Hanover, Ill., passed away on Nov. 14, 2011, at his home with family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer. A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Nov. 18, 2011, at the United Presbyterian Church, Hanover, with Reverend Ron Sumption officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Hanover. boB was born on Nov. 1, 1940, in Savanna, Ill., the son of William Clyde and Ethelyn Marie (Pettengill) Cliff.
