NORTH CRAWFORD - The North Crawford boys basketball team was hitting on all cylinders when they played LaFarge on Thursday, Dec. 10–handily defeating the Wildcats 64-42.

The Trojans jumped out to 16-3 lead to start the game and led at the half 37-20

"I thought we started the game with great energy.  We did a good job early of getting out on their shooters and rotating correctly on penetration," said  Trojan coach Chris Wettstein "I thought down the stretch we could have done a better job in the rebounding department in the second half.  La Farge did a good job of creating second chance opportunities. "  

The Wildcats outrebound the Trojans 31-28 on the game.

The leading scorers for the Trojans were Stephen Munson with 26 points and Quentin Lathrop with 17. Keegan Bender scored seven points, while Devlin Smith and Sever Stovey each scored six points.

Hunter Fowell led the Wildcats in scoring with 15 points.

North Crawford lost the home opener on Friday, Dec. 4 to Wauzeka-Steuben 51-48 on a buzzer beater.

The Trojans then soundly defeated Riverdale 70-38 on Monday Dec. 7.
