Brandon Baumeister runs in a hard rain at the sectional meet on May 29

At the sectional meet in Boscobel on Friday, May 29, North Crawford freshman Kenny Spencer won the triple jump in one jump and set a new school record by almost two feet, jumping an incredible 44'3.5". Spencer is currently ranked second in the state for Division 3.

Branden Baumeister looked great in the 200-meter dash posting a career best time of 23.17 in the rain.

"It was unfortunate that both sprint relays did not advance,” coach Allbaugh said later. “They worked hard all year and nerves got the best of them in the 4x200-meter relay.

“Kenny looked very good in the triple jump and should do well at the state level,” Allbaugh noted. “Both athletes compete on Friday at UW-LaCrosse at 9:30 a.m."
