NORTH CRAWFORD - Newly back from quarantine, the North Crawford girls basketball team faced a tough test on the road against the Kickapoo Panthers last Friday. A lopsided 64-12 victory by the Panthers highlighted the challenges of a winter sport season scattered by the pandemic.

Still playing without key starters due to injury and other protocols, it was also the first time that the Trojans had set foot inside a gym for 16 days. Facing an elite Kickapoo squad, these disadvantages were made clear.

Elizabeth Stovey led the team with eight points and nine rebounds in the loss. Juniors Faye Brassington and Sarah Hanson each added two points.
