Seven members of the Hillsboro cross country earned All-SBC honors at the Scenic Bluff Conference Cross Country Championships on Oct. 15.

The top 10 finishers in both the boys’ and girls’ races were named all-conference.
Hillsboro sophomore standout Annie Haas won the girls’ individual SBC title in a time of 22:18 and earned first-team all-conference honors.

She was joined on the girls’ all-conference team by senior Destiny Shore (23:07) and freshman Paige Stull (23:16), who place third and fourth, respectively, at conference.

Meanwhile, sophomores Dacoda Wells and Jason Griffiths, junior Zach O’Hair and freshman Dawson Cordner earned all-conference honors for the Hillsboro boys.

Wells finished second at the conference meet at 18:29, just one second behind champion Josh Korn of Cashton.

O’Hair finished sixth at 19:44, while Griffiths (19:46) placed seventh and Cordner (20:08) was 10th.
